by Timothy L. Price (Author)
100+ Words I Haven't Lived Without shows how an average person can pick up a stellar vocabulary-as related through anecdotal life stories. These experiences provided the author opportunity to become well-spoken enough to be invited to lecture, even highly educated, in an ironic twist of fate. Each feature provides etymological and historical detail through graphical, crisp, and chronological accounts. Life is instructive for those willing to pay attention and not feel put down by a challenge of the unfamiliar. Come on a journey of discovery through the experience of an everyday life in comical and poignant vignettes. Instead of a self-serving, tailored, tell-all memoir, this one is gritty and educational while showing a slice of life few ever get to see. This book is a tribute to people who gave the author something of themselves.
