About- Sonal Nathwani is a painter and surface pattern designer known for her vibrant, floral-inspired art. Born in Malawi to Indian parents, raised in England, and now based in Vienna, her work blends Asian and European influences. A graduate of the Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, she draws inspiration from nature, light, and everyday moments, creating both figurative and abstract pieces. Sonal licenses her designs for products with brands such as Minted, Hallmark, and Anthropologie.
