Human attempts to cope with the consequences of their faulty wiring and sluggish evolution are inherently absurd. These poems and short prose pieces dabble in cynicism and satire through moments of sorrow, disgust, puzzlement, alienation, apathy, amazement and rage.
Author Biography
Geoffrey Mark Matthews is an artist and writer and lives in Lincolnshire. He was born in 1954 and grew up in North Yorkshire. His other collections of poems are, pausing at Anger (1985), The Familiar Reaches (2004 and 2015), Dead Reckoning (2009) and from Moving Window to Cave (2015).
