In most World Universities where Ancient Western Philosophy is taught the popular genre is to regurgitate the history of Greek Philosophy from maybe, the pre-philosophical period of the poets-Homer and Hesiod and the classical literature that formed the source of early Greek wisdom and from there move on to the dawn of philosophizing blazed by the Milesian Philosophers Thales, Anaximander and Anaximenes through to what is now known as the golden era of Greek philosophy as well as philosophy after Aristotle. This book is therefore written for students of philosophy up to intermediate level as well as for the green-horn researchers from other disciplines. It is comprehensive and simplified.
