A Particular Boy Among Air Particles is a fantasy adventure with a heart, a slow-burn mystery for readers who enjoy unraveling discoveries piece by piece while following a young man searching for his place in a wider world. The curious will be rewarded.
The novel combines the sense of wonder and discovery found in Brandon Sanderson's Tress of the Emerald Sea with the gradual unveiling of larger truths reminiscent of Mistborn, while carrying some of the understated emotional tension present in T.J. Klune's The House in the Cerulean Sea. Readers may also recognize influences from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Xenoblade Chroniclesin the worldbuilding.
