It led to her diligent research to find an answer to (or at least provide more of an understanding of) the emotional toll taken on African American males and their subsequent need to communicate.

Dr. Theresa hopes that readers who finish her book begin to communicate their pain while passing down the hope of healing as they reveal their stories to those closest in their circles.
