This book was written for singles who want to choose a partner aligned with their vision, values and goals. Often during dating, people are on their best behavior and try to please their potential mate. Making a good first impression is important but in the end, you will spend your whole life with someone, so you need to be authentic! 50% of marriages end in divorce and a third of couples that remain married are unhappy. People are not honestly communicating their feelings and needs and working together to consciously create synergy in their relationship. This book addresses 100 topics of conversation, allowing couples to really get to know each other and work through differences to arrive at a shared vision of their ideal life together. It addresses 20 life areas! Often one partner dreads talking because heavy handed monologues can turn to blaming, shaming, debating or complaining. ?A Shared Vision? facilitates fun, inspirational exchanges between couples, giving conversations a positive context so partners can share important issues, problem-solve and create shared solutions. It is for couples thinking about that ?next step, ? who want to create a solid foundation. It's also for married couples who?ve lost their passion and want to re-invent the life of their dreams, infusing their relationship with more cooperation, inspiration and direction. In this workbook each person has space to write and record their dreams and desires. You can return to it years later and revise what you both wrote. At the end, there is an exercise to create a collage or shared vision that represents what your life will be like together. You can hang it above your bed to inspire you for years to come.
