This story is about Red Clasen's family and what happened in the state of Iowa. They are a normal family and live a normal life. They have our own traditions in life that tend to be mundane but have substance in their heritage.

In a lot of ways, it could have occurred in any of several decades on a family farm in America's Bible belt. Things don't change too fast on the farm and they are usually the last to embrace new things such as air conditioning and color television. In fact, our fathers and forefathers would be more likely to shun the spotlight to simply keep life simple and on schedule. Peace and privacy are a well-founded part of the tradition.
