A dream wedding with an unexpected twist takes Susan Sheridan and Amanda on a wild rollercoaster of emotions - one that brings them closer than ever as mother and daughter.
If there's anything Susan Sheridan understands, it's that things don't always go as planned.
From her divorce, to her move from Newark, to her cancer diagnosis, finally to Scott popping the question at the Sunrise Cove Inn's New Year's Party in front of all her closest family and friends.
She never thought she'd find her way back to a love like this.
Amanda prepares herself for the ride of her life as she plans a dream-wedding to Chris, a man she's loved desperately for years.
But there's something off about him. Something that rears its ugly head as the January wedding date rolls near. Something that proves to Amanda what her mother has already learned- things don't always go as planned.
Add to this turbulent world-win of the Sheridan clan: Lola falls deeper in love with her boyfriend, Tommy; Audrey, as she continues to grapple with her pregnancy at the age of nineteen; and Christine, as she prepares to take on the responsibility of motherhood, in a way she never imagined.
Beyond this, their father dips evermore toward darkness as his dementia worsens. It's a cloud over everything, even as their love for him grows. Can the Sheridan clan survive this rollercoaster ride?
Join Amanda, Susan, Lola, Christine, and Audrey as they move forward in life, in love, in family, and in friendship. Nothing is ever as it seems or as they planned. But maybe that's never a bad thing. It's just how time goes on the Vineyard.
