Author Biography
John Wesley (1703-1791) was the founder of the Methodist movement, the Wesleyan branch of the Evangelical Revival in the British Isles. With his brother, the hymn writer and poet Charles Wesley (1708-1788), he spearheaded a religious movement that would eventuate in the founding of Methodist churches throughout the world.
