As well as problems caused by humankind, the natural hazards of the Earth have also been described with the view that many or the world's populations live in regions that can be very dangerous at times. Each chapter is concluded with a Summary, Practical Tips, ten Multichoice Questions and ten longer Review and Discussion Questions. Book 2 also has an accompanying PRACTICAL MANUAL with a large number of experiments and data analysis activities which can be performed by students using basic available equipment in support of the textbook.
