Agile methodology today is one of the most popular and talked-about project management styles amongst software development teams. And it's increasingly being adopted by a variety of other functions. At its core, Agile is a set of principles that can be used to guide the delivery of a software project. It encourages communication, collaboration and working software over documentation and plans that cannot change. I started by providing basic information about two methodologies, Waterfall and Agile. I try to explore the core concept of Agile as well as Scrum. I explained the Agile modelling with crystal clear in-depth development and practices in software industry. I included user stories with several practices to get the hands on experience. Scrum is a framework within which people can address complex adaptive problems, while productively and creatively delivering products of the highest possible value. I also covered core values, principles, and practices, collectively kown as Scrum framework in association of Agile, including it's roles and work flow with the real life examples. Scrum is a framework that is used to implement Agile development. This book includes comprehensive overview of the Scrum framework and also presents the most popular approaches for applying Scrum. This textbook is for graduate, post-graduate students as well as entry level professionals of computer science/engineering to get the practical and core concept of Agile & Scurm. As you would expect, I wrote the book assuming that most people would read it linearly from front to back. If you are new or newer to Agile & Scrum, you should take this approach because the chapters/sections do tend to build on one another. This book gives you opportunity to explore agile and scrum at your own place and pace.
