The individual and her environment(s) blend in palpable ways, and fierce femininity is a constant. In an age of climate injustice, global violence, and mounting social pressure, this speaker is aware of what is changing -- and how it changes her.
Sophia Pinto Thomas is a poet from Boston, Massachusetts. She was born in 2003 to a family of artists and social workers. She enjoys experimenting with the possibilities of rhyme, learning from the trials of young adulthood, and observing the wonders of the natural world. Sophia is an eco-poet, world-maker, and eternal student. She shares poems on her social media (@sophiapintothomas), and her free Substack newsletter "Thoughts Across Bostonia"
