All I ever wanted was to be Normal is a 32-year-old woman's testimony of God's saving grace. She was addicted to alcohol, living with her abusive boyfriend, depressed and suicidal. But Jesus heard her cry for help. He led her on the extraordinary adventures of being a Christian. It's about God's loving kindness, her child-like faith, and her salvation in 1984. She believed what she read in the Bible, and miracles happened! Every chapter but one describes a miracle, something only God could do, including deliverance from alcoholism, freedom from compulsive promiscuity, and the power of God to help others. In 1997, at the age of 45, she got the desires of her heart - her husband and a white picket fence.
