Author Siobhán Parkinson's son was five when she experienced a stillbirth. Unable to find any good books to help her son understand the experience, she decided to write her own.

Author Biography
Siobhán Parkinson has written around thirty books for children and adults. She was Ireland's first Laureate na nÓg (children's laureate) and founder of independent children's press Little Island Books. All Shining in the Spring was her first book.
