All Things Restored: A Story of Kingdom, Hope, and New CreationWhat if the Bible is one grand, unified story from beginning to end?
From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture unfolds a single, coherent narrative: God is restoring his creation and redeeming humanity. All Things Restored invites readers to rediscover that story and to see how the Bible's many books fit together into a sweeping drama moving toward renewal, reconciliation, and the return of the King.
In this accessible yet theologically substantial work, Sebastiaan van Wessem traces the drama of redemption through five movements: Creation, Covenant, Messiah, Kingdom, and Consummation. Along the way, he shows how God's enduring purposes for Israel, the nations, and the whole created order are woven together, advancing toward the promise of new creation.
Rather than reducing the gospel to personal salvation alone, All Things Restored presents it as a royal announcement: God's reign has begun in Messiah Jesus and will be fully revealed when he returns and makes all things new. This broader vision reshapes how we read Scripture, understand the church's calling among the nations, and live faithfully in the present age.
Written for pastors, leaders, and thoughtful believers, this book offers a hopeful and grounded vision of the Christian life-holding together Kingdom mission, patient endurance, and confident expectation of Jesus' return.
If you long to understand the Bible as one unfolding story and discover your place within God's redemptive purposes, All Things Restored will help you see the scope of his kingdom and the hope that shapes our future.
