Excerpt: He loved being with people. A familiar sight was to see Father Claude walking the streets of the North End. Everyone knew him and everyone loved him and they would stop to talk to him, hugged him and wished him well. It was a Father Claude Traffic Jam!
He knew most families and would ask about how little "Joey" or "Gina" was doing. A frequent visitor to his parishioners' homes, he would check to see how the infirm and elderly were doing, sit and have a cup of coffee with them and chat. And oh, how he could chat!
