This book traces American engagement in the English-speaking Caribbean from the eighteenth to the twenty-first century, and is the first to examine the policies of Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump in this context. Dr. Samantha S.S. Chaitram is a Research Manager at the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, and a Spanish interpreter for the Ministry of National Security, Trinidad and Tobago.
