A researcher and one of the pioneers in the area of structural control. Co-authored \"Control of Structures\" with H. H. Leipholz by Martinus-Nijhoff Publishers, Boston, in 1986. Authored \"Control of Nonlinear Oscillations in Civil Structures\" published by Kuwait University in 1992 and \"Structural Analysis\" by Dar-Anashr for Universities, Cairo, in 1998.
