Is your child nervous about trying something new?
Annabelle feels the same way on her very first trip to gymnastics. She's excited-but also a little shy and unsure. At the gym, Annabelle meets her friendly coach and new classmates. She learns to stretch, jump, and try new moves. Some things are easy... and some are not. Her cartwheel is wobbly, and a handstand to bridge feels very hard. But with encouragement from her coach and a thumbs-up from her dad, Annabelle remembers something important:
Just try your best and have fun.
As practice continues, Annabelle grows more confident. She and her friends help one another, cheer one another on, and prepare for a special gymnastics show. When the big moment arrives, Annabelle discovers that trying something new can be exciting, rewarding, and something to be proud of.
