Author Biography
Regina Stone Matthews is an award-winning author. Her children's chapter books include: -Elizabeth Marie Hutchinson-When I Dream -Dealing with Margaret: Elizabeth Marie Hutchinson-When I Dream -I'm A Detective! Elizabeth Marie Hutchinson-When I Dream (Winner of the Henri and Reader's Choice Awards at the 2013 Christian Literary Awards) Her picture book, Tracks in the Snow, won the Reader's Choice Award at the 2014 Christian Literary Awards. She is also the author of the children's e-book, Words and Actions, a guide to teach kids positive virtues that won the Reader's Choice Award at the 2015 Christian Literary Awards. Regina's newest book, Arnold J. Peppercorn! Why Must You Have Such a Loud Personality? is a picture story book for grades K-3. Regina is a member of the North 40 Storytellers Guild, Rockwall Christian Writers Group, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. As an author, Regina desires to cultivate the imaginations of both children and adults through reading. Regina and her husband, David, are members of First United Methodist Church Richardson, where Regina is also Director of the Woman's Center in Richardson.
