Drawing on the material from his life, Enoch jolts us out of our complacency to ponder over the questions of caste, class and gender; of love, friendship, power games, exploitation and politics. Through the title story, Enoch brings out the relationship between the Ganga, the revered river and the water in the well of the 'untouchable'.
