Australian Good Birdwatching Guide: NSW-ACT is the first in the planned series of arguably the most comprehensive guidebooks to birdwatching destinations in Australia.
The NSW-ACT guide covers not only the established, well-known locations within the State but also interesting places known only to a few or even first discovered by the authors. These sites will not be found in any other publications.
Detailed access information is provided, especially for locations that are difficult to find. As a minimum, habitat description, site facilities and key avifauna are addressed for each birding site.
Most data is based on personal records and travel experiences of the authors, cross-checked and augmented with the verified sightings reported online.
