Little bear cub Kuma has a spirit of adventure! He lives with his mom, dad, and big brother at the foothills of a dark forest in Yosemite Park, near a creek that flows from the top of the mountains. It's a place of plentiful fish and community among the bears of the park, but trouble lurks beyond its safe borders. Kuma's mother cautions him and his brother about the forest with its buzzing bees, dangerous darkness, and tall trees-but this only makes Kuma want to explore it more! Bear Club Chalet is a picture book about a bear cub who uses his smarts to survive in the wilderness.
