Beautiful Legacy: Our Roots Run Deep
It was a moment etched in time for author Mindy Hopman, as she and her grandfather watched her children play. Her grandfather turned to her, and with tear-filled eyes whispered naches, Yiddish for unspeakable delight. That precious moment encouraged Hopman to wonder if she brought similar joy to her heavenly Father. Thus was born the premise of her new book, Beautiful Legacy: Our Roots Run Deep, in which Hopman traces the Jewish heritage to help readers understand how one seed gives birth to the ancient Hebrew-Christian faith-family tree. Hopman emphasizes the mystery of how, similar to the biblical olive tree, once we believe, God grafts us into His faith-family tree in order for us to grow, thrive, and bear fruit. Hopman helps readers understand the origin of the roots of the Christian faith to pass the legacy of faith onto future generations, thus bringing naches to their heavenly Father.
