As it passed from the hands of the Mughals to the English, and was later divided into two governments, Bengal touched the pinnacles of greatness and plummeted into the depths of suffering. Today, it is rising once again like a phoenix from its own ashes. Temple of India is a young non-profit organisation that aims to unite the world under the singular flag of humanity. The organisation believes in letting go of regressive factors of the society, such as distinctions of caste, creed and religion, so that the world can be a better place to live in.
The organisaton lives out this dream by visiting people of the streets every single day, and helping them improve their lives in as many ways as possible. With humanity at its core, Temple of India has several goals to achieve-from uplifting the backward sections of the society to providing sustainable means of living to the poor and unemployed people of India.
