Some of the changes were sudden and dramatic due to COVID. Some of the changes were gradual and subtle as the world shifted and divided. But, little by little, loss by loss, Gavin's ability to withstand the changes started to waver. He couldn't be around his friends like normal, go to school like normal, or play baseball like normal; and everywhere he turned, all he heard about was this new and scary world. Would things ever be normal again? Would he ever feel normal again? Was he the only one who felt this way?
