Between the Wedding and the War continues the true saga of two families, the northern Roosevelts, residents of New York City and the southern Bullochs, living in rural northern Georgia. For seven years, letters flowed between the Bulloch and Roosevelt families capturing a poignant time of familial upheaval foreshadowed by war. It contains the letters exchanged by Mittie Bulloch in Georgia and Theodore Roosevelt in New York during their courtship and the planning of their December wedding. The third volume, Divided only by Distance & Allegiance presents the war years letters and journals.
