It's the spring of 1881 and Billy the Kid is fresh off his daring escape from the Lincoln County Courthouse. While hiding out in the gold boomtown of White Oaks, he meets Old Man Adams, on his way back to the fabled canyon that holds the Lost Adams Diggings. Unfortunately for Billy, so is the Santa Fe Ring... and a deadly skinwalker. The Santa Fe Ring just wants the gold, but the skinwalker seeks something far more valuable-and dangerous. A wild odyssey across New Mexico Territory ensues for the burgeoning "Boy Bandit King," including a shootout in Seven Rivers, a jailbreak from Fort Union, and a championship poker game at The Montezuma in Las Vegas.
