Teth-Adam or "Mighty Adam" began as a hero of humanity, but then allowed his power to corrupt his ideals and desires. Now labeled Black Adam, he was exiled by Shazam, but returned in the modern day. Christopher Priest is a critically acclaimed writer and one of the first African Americans to break into the comics industry. He is known for penning a renowned run on Marvel's Black Panther as well as work on Conan the Barbarian, Quantum & Woody, The Amazing Spider-Man and more. For DC Comics, he has recently written popular runs on both Justice League and the Eisner-nominated Deathstroke.
