Author of The Last Voyageurs, Boissoneault has previously been a staff writer for Smithsonian Magazine and an editor for The Weather Channel. Her work has appeared in the New Yorker, National Geographic, The Atlantic, Playboy, Catapult, Audubon, Slate, and many other outlets.
