An original, creative, action novel set in Brooklyn, NY. March Krantz is telling his life story to a reporter, a friend, who is writing his bio. It's the story of a juvenile delinquent growing up in the streets who becomes a famous stand-up comic. He produces and stars in shows in night clubs owned by the mob, with much interaction with the mafia. The book moves forward with March Krantz creating a large production entertainment company, becoming extremely wealthy, marrying twice and proceeding to old age, eventually living in Connecticut and Italy. Fast moving, great dialogue, and an enjoyable read.
Author Biography
Ed Halpern was born in Brooklyn, New York during the 1930's. He has written four novels, as well as lyrics, TV scripts, and poems. Ed and his wife of over fifty years live in Los Angeles, California. They have two children and three grandchildren
