Have you ever tried to fit in somewhere you know you don't belong? Have you ever tried to be someone you're not? Perhaps you will relate to Giovanni, a grape who, quite simply, doesn't want to be a grape. Ignoring the facts and paying no attention to how God designed him, Giovanni sets off on a journey to live as he thinks best and aligned with what he wants to be. That's a big part of the problem, though. What Giovanni thinks isn't necessarily the truth or what's best for him.
How long will we continue to rebel against God and do things our own way? What rewarding purpose does our Father hold for us if we will just accept who He made us to be and turn over the reins to Him? God offers us an abundance of love even when, like Giovanni, we don't recognize it along the way. In the end, though, the grace of God shines through as He rewards and honors His children beyond anything we can foresee, comprehend, or imagine.
Joseph Ciavardone was an engineering professional for almost three decades before obeying the call to leave his career. As a first-time author and illustrator, he is excited to offer a collection of three books to serve as a witness to the goodness of God. With the Word of God as his compass, Joseph uses personal experiences and hard-learned lessons in his walk with the Lord Jesus to bring messages of hope and encouragement to others.
