Carla paints hearts for her friends and is given a clean bill of health from her doctor. She continues to paint with joy and is determined to paint one million hearts to share with the world.
Inspired by breat-cancer survivor Carla O'Brian's true story and her goal to share one million hearts through her Just Flow Love initiative, this tender tale that was created to offer a fictional representation of the real challenges many children face whose lives are touched by cancer and terminal illnesses. Author Tom Sweitzer is the Co-Founder of A Place To Be, a center for Music Therapy and Expressive Arts as well as an actor and playwright.
