Loosely based on author/illustrator Chuck Gonzales' childhood in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, this graphic novel centers on Carlos Gomez and his family - the only Mexican family in their Midwestern town. Author Biography
Chuck Gonzales is a Latinx writer and illustrator who spent his childhood in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He now lives in New York City with his husband Michael and has illustrated several Graphic Novels.
