She can see what's coming. She just can't stop it.
Skye has always seen the world differently. Raised in a crowded house in a neighborhood that never wanted her family, she learned young what it means to be the one people whisper about. She also learned to live with a secret - a flicker of foresight, the ability to catch glimpses of what lies ahead. It has never once made her life easier. When she finally escapes her parents' doorstep with a single bag and a long-shot future, Skye throws herself into a chaotic new world of cramped college houses, graveyard shifts, unlikely friendships, and a love that pulls her somewhere she never planned to go. Every choice ripples outward in ways even she can't predict - and the deeper she goes, the harder it becomes to tell the difference between the future she's afraid of and the one she's building with her own hands. Raw, tender, and impossible to put down, Chaotic Karma is a story about survival, self-discovery, and the collision of fate and free will. It's about what we cling to when everything falls apart - and the quiet strength it takes to keep going when the sky turns the wrong shade of red. "An amazing first novel, well plotted and well written. The story is compelling and the characters believable." - Amazon reviewer "Hauntingly relatable and beautifully written. I couldn't put it down." - Amazon reviewer For readers who love emotionally charged coming-of-age fiction with heart, grit, and a touch of the unexplained.Author Biography
I started writing because I have a debilitating illness that leaves me often bed ridden. It's called Gastroparesis. Leaving the stomach partially paralyzed. It is exhausting in its relentless pain. Creating stories were a way of trying to express myself while trying to help out with the bills around the house. Hopefully this is a story that someone might feel connected to. It's my first so not perfect but it's at least my own.
