Once a year, Charlie's dad surprises his son with a Day Off. Charlie doesn't know when it will come or what they will do, but one thing is for sure-a day with Dad is going to be the best day ever!
Charlie's dad has a special tradition with his boys-first Wilbur, and now Charlie. Once a year and without notice, Charlie's dad keeps Charlie home from school to have a day of fun. Whatever Charlie wants to do that day, Charlie gets! Sometimes he picks the State Museum, or maybe the Zoo, or even the Aquarium!
No matter what, they always have to stop at the famous hot dog shop and later, go get ice cream.
