Everyday Chocolate wakes up in his shelter, the old abandoned mill, and goes in search of some food, barking with joy. Chocolate imagines that he is already part of her family, and his heart fills with hope. Dreaming of a better future, he manages to overcome the sadness of his past, the memory of that summer when his family abandoned him...
Chocolate's Dream is the tale of a little dog who is looking for a home. This is a story to help make children and adults aware of the need to respect our pets, and to be responsible and care for the animals who give us all of their unconditional love and loyalty.
Author Biography
The award-winning author Elisabet Blasco was born at dawn on a day in June. From Barcelona by birth, a citizen of the world at heart. She began to flirt with writing at an early age and in her teens she wrote her first verses. She has studied clinical psychology, dietetics and nutrition. Recently she has been trained in yoga.
Cha Coco, born and living in China, is an award-winning illustrator and has published several children picture books.
