"Chronicle of Tursun Bey" (Tarikh-i Ebü'l-Feth -The History of the Father of Conquest) is one of the most remarkable works of classical Ottoman historiography, written by Tursun Bey - a statesman, scholar, and eyewitness to the reign of Sultan Mehmed II, the Conqueror.
