Most gratitude exercises and journals are designed to express reasons for your gratitude. This is a journal designed to express and act on your gratitude, to grow the love you hold within.
Valuable journals and resources exist to help repair self-esteem and build self-compassion. Yet at some point in the journey, we can feel ready to spread our wings-to venture beyond ourselves and do more for others. But it can be all too easy to fall into a rut, using the bulk of our energy to continue to protect our egos and build our hardiness.
From disheartening and negative social interactions to tragic news content and growing social divides, it seems tempting more than ever to turn inward and focus exclusively on managing our own vulnerabilities. But with healthy self-esteem intact, we can do more. Beyond applauding how we accomplished something on our own-that we proved we could do it-we can also celebrate the relationships that surround us: we can act with loving gratitude every day.
You can use this journal to not only feel more gratitude but act more gratefully, making personal relationships stronger and the world a more loving place.
