Prior to joining DR, Haagerup served as editor-in-chief from 1995-2007, first at Danish daily Jyllands-Posten and then at the daily Nordjyske. His education as a journalist includes programmes at Stanford University, INSEAD, IMD, the Stanford Research Institute and the Wharton Business School at University of Pennsylvania. Haagerup is an international public speaker on leadership and the role of the media.
