Everything a girl could want can be found within the inexhaustible bustle and shining lights of Manhattan. The best clubs, finest restaurants, and not to mention the richest and hottest guys. Cristina De Rosa is no stranger to the glitz and glamour of the big city. She has the trendiest clothes, a high-rise apartment, and a boyfriend that checks all of her boxes.
Nothing could go wrong.
But, when Cristina is faced with a huge responsibility at work, she begins to fumble. Working at her step-father's company had never been her first choice. When her manager angrily dismisses her from the office, she is faced with an ultimatum that has the potential to change her life forever-stay in Manhattan with no financial support, or travel to Italy to reconnect with her roots.
Cristina has to learn the difference between entitlement and hard work. When the big-city girl meets small-town rural living, Cristina must learn how to adjust to the obstacles in front of her and embrace the rougher, dirtier parts of life. Will the pressure of fending for herself be too much to handle? Or will she rise to the challenge long enough to dig deep and connect with the people from her past?
