"Curious Matt Explores the Human Body" is the second book of a book series about Curious Matt, an inquisitive child, who asks questions about the world surrounding him. The questions Matt presents resonate with young children, who often have those queries themselves. This light verse, accompanied by delighful drawings will allure your child into a world of curiosity and joy from knowledge.
"Curious Matt Explores the Human Body" contains questions that are asked by children, about different parts within our bodies. In this book you will find ways to answer some of your child's questions about the way our body functions, the way problems within our bodies are solved and the progress of science and medicine. The text is brought in a humorous way and is divided into short reading passages that enables you and your child to skip back and forth and to choose questions your child likes, each time the book is read. Suggested activities are also included after each question and answer, as a direct continuation to the issues that excite your child. Those activities can be done by you with your child, for further joy, knowledge and quality time.
The first book in this series, "Curious Matt Discovers the World", addresses facts and discoveries of the Planet earth and the Solar System.
Curious Matt books are intended for both girls and boys, in the ages of 4-9.
Author Biography
Idit H. Ronen-Setter is an experienced couples and family therapist, working with children and their families. Her fields of expertise are curiosity and creativity among children, as facilitators of healthy emotional and cognitive development. The book was created by three people, who all had a major role in the final product: Idit H. Ronen-Setter as the writer, Ruth Ben-Mayor as the translator and Liat Aluf as the illustrator.
