Die dritte Auflage des Bandes gibt den bewährten Überblick über die gängigen Konstruktionssysteme, die im Altbau und im Neubau angewendet werden, beginnend bei den Grundlagen bis hin zu Sonderformen, Dachgauben und modernen Konstruktionen. Zudem werden die Prinzipien der Dachaussteifung erläutert und Konstruktionsvorschläge angegeben. Das Buch enthält auch Kapitel zur Bestandsanalyse und konstruktive Ma nahmen für eine spätere Dachraumnutzung.
In der Neuauflage wurden sämtliche Kapitel überarbeitet und aktualisiert, insbesondere Konstruktionsformen, Verbindungen und Hallentragwerke.
Author Biography
DI Dr. Anton Pech was active for more than ten years in university research and teaching with a research focus on masonry and restoration of old buildings. He is the managing partner of Dr. PECH Ziviltechnikergesellschaft mbH, a court-certified expert for structural damage, masonry structures, masonry drying and historic structures, as well as a university lecturer and UAS honorary professor for building structures and renovation technology, a member of standardization committees and the author and editor of specialist books and the series Building Structures.
DI Dr. Karlheinz Hollinsky studied civil engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and subsequently spent more than ten years in university research and teaching with a focus on structural engineering, timber and steel construction. He is a managing partner of Dr. Karlheinz Hollinsky & Partner ZT-GmbH, specializing in structural analysis and structural design, test engineering and structural construction management. He is also a sworn and certified expert in the fields of structural analysis and timber construction. In addition to his freelance work, he is a lecturer and teacher in the fields of statics, steel construction and timber construction as a university and university of applied sciences lecturer.
