The epic of 'Daedal Convergence' (Book #2 in the Pariah Series) continues to play out among the people of Rhivian 4, as a small band of pariahs flee and become shipwrecked on another world. Three of these castaways have become unwittingly caught up in this new planet's political struggles, which they cannot separate themselves from. For the other two, their mission becomes a fight for survival and a strain to find any other living being on the planet.
On Rhivian 4, the struggle for the underground rebels becomes even more intense as Psicom continues its dogged hunt for them. One dissident continues to evade them, while another has been captured and forced to become a quisling against their own. The cards are stacked against them, and the laws of averages will soon be their betrayer. The fate of their existence hangs in the balance, and in the end, no one knows how this uncertain future will alter the very fabric of their lives.
