A bookworm with a passion for helping people! Hi, I'm Emily MacLeod. I grew up in the suburbs near Vancouver BC. Growing up I was very shy, quiet, and kept to myself. My most favorite hobby was reading. I would often be sitting in the hallway during lunch hour reading a book by my locker while the other children were playing, socializing, and horsing around. I always felt more comfortable lost in a book. Over the years, my passion for reading and learning enabled me to acquire knowledge in health and wellness. Much of what I learned I applied to my own life and saw wonderful results. I also found that my knowledge often spilled over into other people's lives and helped them as well. I loved being able to help others so I put two and two together and began writing books that would help people. My books have since helped many people around the world live healthier, happier lives. It's always wonderful to know that my writing has enabled someone to live better. My hope is that my books will enhance your life in the same way that writing them has enhanced mine.
