Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) can feel like a beast, even to the most seasoned clinician. Countless acronyms, flowcharts, and pages of theory . . . It can feel like you need to learn a whole new language.
The good news is, you don't.
In DBT Made Doable, licensed mental health counselor Lexi Mulee shows you how to ditch the rigidity and use DBT the way it was meant to be used: flexibly, realistically, and in your unique voice.
Written in a skill-per-page format, this collection of customizable interventions includes:
- All four core DBT modules, broken down in simple, practical terms
- Clear guidance on how to explain each skill so they actually land
- Common client pitfalls (and what to do about them)
- Relatable, playful examples and pop culture references to make skills stick
- Ready-to-use client worksheets for real-time use
Whether you're new to DBT or a seasoned pro, this no-nonsense guide is a reminder that you don't need to do DBT "perfectly." You just need to make it doable (for you and your clients).
