But when the Covid-19 pandemic struck, digital learning and virtual mobility became of utmost importance for higher education.\u003cbr\u003eIn the international project  Digital and International Virtual Academic Cooperation  (DIVA), scholars from Israel, Australia, and Germany focused on intercultural learning and online collaboration. Based on their findings, they show how digital arrangements can be used in higher education, how digital teaching can be theorized, and what potential can be gained for post-pandemic teaching.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eAuthor Biography\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnselm Böhmer (Prof. Dr.), born in 1968, is professor of General Education at Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg (Germany). He previously held professorships in Social Work and was a visiting scholar at the University of South Australia, Adelaide in 2015. His research focuses on education theory in late modernity, poststructuralist approaches of subjectivation, education and social differences, diversity, migration, culturalization, and digitalization.\u003cbr\u003eGötz Schwab, born in 1967, is a professor of applied linguistics at the Institute of English, Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg, Germany. He is head of the institute and coordinates a number of transnational projects. His research interests include Conversation Analysis for Second Language Acquisition (CA-SLA), telecollaboration and the use of mobile technology, syntax, low achievers, and students-at-risk, ELT\/FLT methodology in primary and secondary schools as well as Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL).\u003cbr\u003eIllie Isso, born in 1982, has been a PhD student and research assistant at the Pädagogische Hochschule Ludwigsburg, Germany, since 2021 and is responsible for project management in both the Diva project and the new EUGEN project. Previously, he completed his teacher training in the subjects of history, ethics, technology and sport with the first state examination.
