As an INFP who was going through an "unhealthy" phase, I was tired of feeling like a victim.
I was already experiencing chronic pain, stress and anxiety, and I couldn't help wondering, "If I took a journey towards empowerment for a change, what would that look like?"
The first thing that came to my mind was Persephone, a character in Greek mythology and a female INFP who is kidnapped to the underworld and learns to be the queen of it all. She becomes a person who successfully unites light and dark.
I came to appreciate that as an INFP, I also have my own mythical journey towards self-discovery, empowerment and healing-and looking at this inner journey through the lens of archetypes was the key to understanding it.
Right now you may be feeling like an "unhealthy" INFP. You may be stressed out, burned out, and looking for empowerment and harmony in your inner world. Or you might simply be soul-searching and need a reminder that real personal growth starts with showing compassion towards where you are right now.
