Typically you think of fasting for spiritual purposes, but this fast goes beyond the spirit into your practical lifestyle. Put together in clear, concise fashion - this an all-day, everyday fast. It's in your best interest to fast from all the negative self-talk, phrases and isms we find ourselves saying somewhat subconsciously and then we're left with lives that look just like what we said. Rather, take a breath and see how this self-help challenge will revitalize what comes up and changes what comes out.
Thoughts and language are important. How are you tending to yours? People can so easily fall into patterns of thought that, at best stunt our own development and at worse lead to depression, anxiety, and a litany of other mental disorders. Mental disorders are a two-way street between behavior and action; behaviors or thoughts that are the symptoms of depression can themselves lead toward depression when acted on. I'm not a doctor but suffice it to say that I've seen enough of my friends and family suffer at the hand of themselves just by the way they think and speak. It's time to fast.
Getting Started
There are no concrete instructions on how to read and relate to this book. Just start reading. You can read one per day, two or three per week or you just might ingest the entire thing in one setting. It doesn't matter. You can read it any way you want to. It's set up as take it one day at a time, just meaning, do your best to fast from these phrases one day at a time.

And the great thing about that is you won't miss it at all. I promise you.
- Say it Out Loud. Yes, really, out loud. Why? You need to hear yourself saying something different makes it easier to say it differently if ever you're encountered with that thought. It's good practice.
Really it's more than a fast. It's an easy way to remove all the junk you might think or say and does the mind and body good! It's time for a fast. Don't Say That will be a game changer - a life changer for you if you'll let it. It won't hurt. And you'll feel better and you'll be glad you did. This is to easy not to do it.
